How exactly does EPA work?

EPA is your 24/7 AI guide. Instead of searching on Google and getting a thousand contradictory pieces of advice, you chat directly with EPA about your specific situation. EPA asks you questions, helps you reflect on your own attitude, and gives you literal, practical phrases that you can use immediately with your child.

For what ages is EPA suitable?

EPA grows with you. The app is suitable for parents of toddlers (e.g., tantrums and sleep refusal) up to teenagers (e.g., screen time and letting go). As soon as you enter your child's age in a 'Child Profile', EPA automatically adjusts its tone and strategy.

Does EPA take neurodiversity (such as ADHD or Autism) into account?

Yes. While creating a child profile, you can add specific needs or traits (such as sensory sensitivity, ADHD, or ASD). EPA adjusts its advice accordingly, for example, by focusing more on predictability, visual frameworks, and shorter instructions.

Subscriptions & Account

How do I change or cancel my subscription?

Because payments are processed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store, you manage your subscription directly via your phone's settings.

  • Apple (iOS): Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > EPA > Cancel subscription.
  • Android: Go to the Google Play Store > your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > EPA > Cancel subscription.

What happens to my child profiles if I cancel my subscription?

You retain access to the app's free basic version, but EPA's personalized child profiles and long-term memory are paused until you reactivate your subscription.

Safety & Privacy

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. We believe in the absolute privacy of your family. Conversations are processed with encryption, and we never sell personal data (such as the names or ages of your children) to third parties for advertising purposes.

Does EPA provide medical advice?

No. EPA is a pedagogical guide and AI coach. EPA is explicitly not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or specialist advice. In case of medical complaints, developmental issues, or acute psychological distress, always contact a doctor, pediatrician, or specialist. Never use the app in emergency situations.

EPA doesn't just give random advice; it is programmed based on the unique EPA Method (Frame & Choice). We believe that children are competent and instinctively follow what parents demonstrate. We do not work with rigid rules and punishments, but with clear agreements, natural consequences, and the parent as a stable base.
